Hollywood biggies partner with Bollywood to improve distribution and reach

Charu Malhotra, Co-founder and Managing Director, Primus Partners, shared her view that the industry is increasingly seeing individual filmmakers collaborate at a creative or branding level rather than through traditional studio-led models. She noted that when globally recognised filmmakers come on board, their role is less about business operations and more about credibility, mentorship, and creative alignment, adding that from a business standpoint, such collaborations are low-risk and high-impact.
