Data Centre firms brace for stronger controls and higher costs under DPDP Rules 2025

Arun Moral, Managing Director, Primus Partners highlights that construction costs are rising 5–10% annually due to higher input prices, supply-chain pressures, and increased demand for local processing. Consequently, adding new data-centre capacity has become significantly more expensive, with each additional 1 MW now costing USD 4–5 million (₹35–45 crore).
