AP sets up 360 GCC council chaired by Lokesh to woo global MNCs

The Andhra Pradesh government has launched a 360-degree GCC Advisory Council, led by IT Minister Nara Lokesh, to position the state as a premier destination for Global Capability Centres (GCCs). Comprising top CXOs, global consultants, industry bodies, and academic institutions, the Council will develop a five-year strategic roadmap focused on investment, infrastructure, talent development, and international outreach. Key members include consulting firms like Primus Partners, EY, KPMG, and Deloitte. The initiative also involves partnerships with IIT Tirupati and IIM Visakhapatnam, global roadshows, and aims to generate thousands of high-value tech jobs while enhancing the state’s global technology profile.
