The global VDA exchange market was valued at USD 30.18 Bn in 2021 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 27.8% from 2022 to 2030. With their increasing popularity and the government amending its income tax laws to enable the taxation of VDAs and introducing a digital rupee, there is a need to take steps to enact legislation to regulate VDAs in the country soon.
