A one-day Capacity Building Workshop was organised under Mission Karmayogi at the Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Gurugram, by the Capacity Building Commission, Government of India and Primus Partners in collaboration with the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies (DULB), Government of Haryana.
The workshop brought together over 100 senior officials, including Municipal Council Presidents, Commissioners, District Municipal Commissioners, Executive Officers, and representatives from DULB and HIPA.

During the workshop, Shubham Katyayan, Vice President, Primus Partners provided an overview of how Urban Local Bodies in Haryana are engaging with Mission Karmayogi. He shared experiences from the field, highlighted key milestones, and discussed practical measures to accelerate individual and institutional capacity and learning culture within the state.

Digbijoy Bhowmik, Senior Advisor at Primus Partners, facilitated an engaging session on improving transparency and efficiency in public procurement. His session addressed common challenges faced by municipal officials and offered actionable insights tailored to the Haryana context.

The workshop was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Smt. Rajrani Malhotra (Hon’ble Mayor, Gurugram Municipal Corporation), Dr. Alka Mittal (Member – Administration, CBC), Shri Pankaj (Director General, DULB Haryana), Shri S. P. Roy (Joint Secretary, CBC), and Shri Pradeep Dahiya (Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Gurugram).
This initiative represents a strategic move toward building a more agile, responsive, and capable urban governance framework in Haryana, aligned with the national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
