Shravan Shetty, Managing Director, Primus Partners, shared his view on the market performance, stating that markets recorded marginal gains, with the Nifty rising 0.6% and all major sectors closing in the green, led by outperformance in the auto sector. He added that broader markets posted stronger gains, as both the small-cap and mid-cap indices advanced by over 1%. According to him, these gains helped offset losses seen earlier in the week and brought indices close to levels observed a month ago, indicating that markets have largely remained range-bound over the past two months.
