Aarti Harbhajanka, Managing Director, Primus Partners, attended the announcement of Spacefest, an initiative supported by the Maharashtra government to provide a platform for innovation, startups, technology, and research in the space sector. The event aims to create greater opportunities for students and young entrepreneurs to access information, networks, and opportunities emerging in the rapidly evolving space industry.
The initiative also seeks to strengthen Maharashtra’s position as a hub for space-sector development. The article notes that the state is working towards creating an environment that supports space-tech startups and innovation, with around 25% of India’s space-related research, defence, and satellite manufacturing reportedly taking place in Maharashtra.
