An inspiring roundtable was held at Trident, Mumbai, brought together leaders from government, academia, and industry to discuss how collaboration, innovation, and empowerment can shape a more inclusive and sustainable future for India with a focus on women’s empowerment, innovation, and data-driven policymaking.

While women form over 80% of India’s informal workforce, they remain outside the formal economy. Evidence suggests that closing the gender gap in employment and entrepreneurship could increase global GDP by over 20%. India’s progress through Digital Public Infrastructure. 

Organized by the Women's Collective Forum (WCF) in collaboration with the ALLIANCE FOR GLOBAL GOOD, with 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿, the event explored critical pathways for equitable growth. 

The event was graced by Mrs. Smriti Irani, Chairperson, Alliance for Global Good and Jean-Louis Arcand, President, Global Development Network. The discussions focused on redefining what inclusion means for women in India by examining how gender, geography, and social factors shape access and opportunity. It also explored how innovation, infrastructure, and digital skilling can enable equitable participation in the workforce and empower citizens in an increasingly digital economy.
