Maharashtra participated as a State Partner in the Bharat Tex 2024 event with Primus Partners as their Knowledge Partners. The state's participation in this esteemed event marks a significant milestone in its journey toward revitalizing and advancing its textile sector. The State set up a large State Pavilion, spanning over 1100 square metres at Bharat Mandapam and another pavilion at the Yashobhoomi spread over an area of 300 square metres, showcasing the expanse of its cultural diversity and traditions.
During the event, the state organized a series of knowledge sessions that were attended by industry experts, thought leaders, and research institutions, aiming to provide valuable insights, best practices, and cutting-edge trends to stakeholders across the textile value chain. Wide range of topics including the technical textiles sector, traditional textiles, sustainability and digital interventions were covered in these sessions.
