The Ministry of Defence on 09th August 2020 released a negative list of 101 items for import embargoes phased over a period of time mainly between 2020 and 2024 The negative list was announced in light of the COVID impact on the domestic businesses, as part of the stimulus measures announced during the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan a few months back.
