Devroop Dhar, Co-founder and CEO, Primus Partners, shares his view on cybersecurity risks associated with ArcGIS systems. He highlighted that organizations using ArcGIS in interconnected environments face a high level of exposure, as compromised extensions can enable attackers to maintain access and extract sensitive data. Given ArcGIS’s widespread use across mapping, logistics, and public-sector planning, the data involved—such as network layouts, population records, and infrastructure details—can be particularly valuable.
