CNG vehicle registrations up 14% in CY24

Nikhil Dhaka, Vice President, Primus Partners, highlighted a 14% year-on-year rise in CNG vehicle registrations in 2024, signaling growing market demand for Natural Gas in India’s low-carbon mobility shift. With over 7,200 CNG stations nationwide, he emphasized that the gas sector is well-positioned to meet this demand and support India's goal of increasing natural gas's share in the energy mix from 6% to 15%.
