With an annual defence budget of about $70 billion, India is s behind only the US & China in terms of military expenditure. Presently, the country is focused on imports to a great extent to meet its defence needs. Thus it highly important that the country becomes Aatma Nirbhar to maintain national sovereignty & achieve military superiority. The webinar discussed the importance of enhancing self-reliance in India’s Defence Production and stressed on steps that can be taken to achieve it.
