A Primus Partners report highlights that 80% of surveyed Indian SMBs rely on online advertising, with 42% allocating over 40% of their marketing budget to digital ads. Key trends include the effectiveness of personalized ads (74% of SMBs) and the use of multiple platforms for broader reach, particularly in Tier 2 and 3 cities. The report also highlights the growing role of AI, big data, and short-form video in optimizing campaigns. Ramakrishnan M, Managing Director, Primus Partners, emphasized the importance of digital advertising for MSMEs and called for policy reforms to support SMBs' growth.
