The project aimed to refresh the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) policy and implement a robust governance framework for ground handling and other airside and landside transport activities that add to carbon emission. Key objectives included standardizing GSE usage, outline an approach towards transition to electric vehicles, digitalizing Airport Driving Permit (ADP) and Airside Vehicle Permit (AVP) processes, and enhancing overall operational efficiency. By benchmarking against leading international airports and incorporating advanced technologies, the client seeks to achieve its strategic goals of improved safety, increased efficiency, and environmental sustainability. The project will deliver a future-ready GSE policy, a digitalization roadmap, and a sophisticated performance monitoring system for ground operations, positioning the airport as a cutting-edge, sustainable airport.
